We live in a huge metroplex. Gigantic. Everything you could ever want is just a drive away. This place has so much to offer that people vacation here.
So why, oh why, did the new Denny’s get a spot light for its grand opening?
Because even though we live among the hustle and bustle of the city, our side of town feels small.
I can drive past a pasture full of cows before the short drive to a major mall. I see goats and horses on the way home each day, regardless of which direction I’m coming from. My local library has a crochet club, yet I have 5 large crafting stores at my finger tips.
We have the best of both worlds in our little corner of the city.
I wouldn’t have it any other way.
